About ASAP Checks

ASAP Checks, Forms & Supplies started in 1999. Along with its sister company in Canada, ASAP Checks has printed many millions of checks for businesses of all sizes, as well as individuals, throughout North America.

The primary reason for our success is the value that we offer. Compared to large, traditional check printers, our prices are substantially lower, and most of our orders are ready to ship within 1 business day.

Unlike many of our competitors who simply resell products manufactured by others, ASAP Checks prints its own checks from its production facility in Northern New York state.

ASAP Checks has a mandate to be an active member of the community, in particular helping the disadvantaged. We applaud the work of volunteers and organizations, and encourage our staff to look for opportunities to get involved.
Participation includes:

• our local food bank and the Salvation Army,
• we are about to introduce a series of Affinity Checks to help publicize and fund various causes such as War Veterans and our Armed Forces, Food Banks, Emergency Services (firefighters, police)
• developing a new venture to provide a constant revenue source for local needs as well as training and employment opportunities for the disadvantaged, 
• Lots more planned!..

Corporate History

1980s  The founder of ASAP Checks developed one of the first MICR fonts to produce stable results with early generation MICR toner and HP LaserJet printers. The resulting products were used by over 100 of the top property management firms in North America.

1990s  The founder developed the first Windows-based desktop MICR check-writing application. Versions were adapted for use by large and small check printers in North America, major pension fund managers, and many others.

1990s  The founder participated in ANS X9 standards development related to check printing.

1999   ASAP Checks began offering Computer and Business Checks throughout North America, and MICR Toner internationally

1999  Favorable mention by PC World magazine (Lincoln Spector column).

2001  "Avoiding Check Fraud" tip sheet developed and made available freely.

2003  First to use Thermochromatic (color changes when exposed to heat) printing as a security feature on checks, extending our lead in quality and security.

2004  Reached milestone of 15 million checks printed annually.

2005  Incorporated and opened a production facility in Memphis, Tennessee.

2006  Improved order turnaround time to the unheard of 1 business day.

2006  Introduced new Check 21 (for the U.S.) and CPA 006 (for Canada) format checks, retaining extensive list of security features.

2006  Our Canadian sister company launched its program to become the leading check printer for Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires across Canada.

2008  Relocated our production facility to northern New York state.
 
2010  Added Endorsement Stamps to the product line.
