ChequeMaster is significantly more secure than the use of pre-printed cheques with MICR, as the paper used for printing has no pre-printed MICR line and is therefore valueless. This reduces the security and risk issues associated with cheques and eliminates the usual inventory management that accompany the use of value-paper.

There are two ChequeMaster modules available, On-Demand and Back-office.

On-demand - this module is for printing single cheques as and when required.
Features:

  • Quick secure easy production of laser-printed cheques with MICR lines.
  • Multi-level security/access control
  • No paper import/accounting functions eliminating manual intervention
  • Reduced End of Day functions through non-networked solution
  • Reports and Audit trails available from POS menu options
  • Simple reprint functions

Back-office - This module is for printing cheques in bulk via a file download.
Features:

  • Multi-level security features
  • Cheques are printed from a file eliminating manual intervention
  • 3 cheques per page, saving on wasted paper and manual paper feed
  • Reduced end of day functions through non-networked solution
  • Reports and audit trails available from back-office menu options
  • Audit reporting
  • Simple re-run procedure

The paper is security cheque paper printed to users own specification, the
MICR line is added at time of printing, and digital signatures can be added.

The system is used in-house at Thomas Cook and can be integrated into the accounting areas of any company, or used stand alone.
