We were born out of the frustration with the increasing cost of checks, both in our personal lives and in our business lives. We knew there was a better way, a more cost effective way. Our History + Beginnings

ASAP Checks was founded by Les C. Cseh in 1999. Prior to starting a company, Les helped shape the industry for printable checks and security, creating the first MICR fonts to produce stable results when using inkjet printers as well as developing the first computer based check-writing application. Both of these innovations has earned Les a solid reputation in the industry.

After founding the company, it took only 5 years to reach an annual shipment of over 15 million checks. Over the course of the last 15 years, ASAP Checks and its Canadian sister company have shipped 100’s of millions of checks, improved shipment turnaround to an unheard of 1 day, and setup a truly North American customer support team.
